Mandia Anchalik College was established in 1981 to provide higher education opportunities to the rural youth of the Mandia region. The college began its journey with the Arts stream under the leadership of founding Principal Atatur Rahman. Affiliated with Gauhati University and Bhattadev University, the institution currently offers Undergraduate programs in Arts through eight academic departments. The college is committed to academic excellence, holistic student development, and community-oriented education. It is also preparing for the second cycle of National Assessment and Accreditation Council accreditation.

They are responsible for managing academic activities, maintaining discipline, supervising teachers and staff, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the institution. A principal also guides students, implements educational policies, and works for the overall development and reputation of the college.

General Rules & Regulations

Every pupil of the institution & all intra institutional bodies shall be subject to general guidance and control as may be prescribed by the College Governing Body from time to time.

Any students found to have involved in anti-academic activity, disobedient or indecent behaviour shall be subject to disciplinary action.

A student who is found to have violated college rules shall be liable to expulsion.

Admission Fee and all other fees are to be paid at a time for the whole year on the day of admission.

Each academic session will run as per Academic Calendar embodied in the prospectus.

Wearing of college uniform is compulsory during college hours on all working days including College Week, Meetings and Examinations.

Identity Card supplied from the college should be kept with students inside the college.

Mobile phones are strictly restricted during class and examination hours. Any violation is subject to severe disciplinary action.

Spitting/Smoking/writing on walls or dirtying in any way is strictly prohibited. Any student detected doing so will face exemplary disciplinary action.

No notice or leaflet can be circulated without due permission of the Principal.

Ragging is strictly prohibited. Any student found involved will be dealt with as per Govt. Law.

Committee constituted by the Principal will be the competent authority to prohibit ragging.
